代码代写|Group Project – Understanding and improving gender equality in Australian workplaces

这是一篇澳洲的tableau数据可视化和分析代码代码代写

Project Objective:

Implementation of a small-scale Business Intelligence project called “Improving Gender Equality in Australian Enterprises”. You will report on the current state of gender equality in Australian organisations and offer evidence-based suggestions on how it can be improved.

Learning Objectives:

The main objective for this assignment is to develop your critical thinking skills in designing and implementing a BI project in any context, including organisational, industry-wide, or societal and being able to work independently and as a team member.

The Scenario:

In this real-life project, you are required to develop a report and a visual analysis of the nature of challenges concerning gender equality within and across enterprises and propose initiatives to overcome them, considering the decision-making needs of three different design personas, as specified below.

Imagine you are a consultancy firm that has exclusive access to the WGEA data. You have three clients all of whom have different needs and requirements. For each of these customers design a persona based on the information below.

Design personas are different types of users grouped into the so-called “archetypes” (Godwin, 2009).

Archetypes are typically built/designed after in-depth observations and interviews of potential users. The resulting persona is designed to represent a fictional (but believable) character whose profile sums up the features of a whole (existing) group of similar users (Godwin, 2009). Each persona represents much more than a typical user.

Personas are often named (e.g. “Professor Sandra”) to emphasise human-centred design thinking. However, they do not represent a single (named) user but characteristics of a group of people whose needs have been considered.

Your Tasks:

Step 0: Devise a Project Charter (Framework attached)

The main priority is to make sure all members share tasks equally and agree to timelines for getting the project finished by the due date.

Note:  In preparing your charter, please be clear about the deadlines for key output arising from this project. Guidelines and a template are provided in Attachment 1.

Step 1: Design of Personas

You are required to design three personas to represent three groups of users:

For the personas, you must use some WGEA data from the year 2020 and/or before.

  1. “Public servant Bill” – Bill is a leader in the Senior Executive Services of the WGEA. His role is Deputy Director of the Agency (Policy and Research)  He is interested in using your consulting firm to provide expert advice on how to improve policyon gender equality in Australian workplaces based on the statistical information in the data.
  2. “Union Katie” – Katie represents a trade union working to ensure women are more equally spread amongst all the different types of jobs offered in Australian enterprises. Katie has limited resources but has hired your consulting firm to help her identify how best to focus on achieving better working conditions for women in 3 industries.
  3. “Inclusion and diversity manager Jane” – Jane works in one of the ‘big four’ Australian Banks (ie one of Westpac, Commbank/CBA, ANZ and NAB). Her role is to champion gender diversity across all partsof the business. She thinks her company could do better in terms of nurturing gender equality in the workplace. She is hiring your firm to obtain insights about other organisations in the finance industry so she can benchmark her firm’s performance.  She is especially keen to identify best practices as she provides advice to her Board on how to improve gender equality in her business.
  • Further research each persona’s roles, work contexts and decision needs and then describe each persona using the template shown in Figure 1.
  • For each persona, you are required to state three non-trivialquestions they will be able to answer by using your BI application.

Questions that can be answered by a very simple query of the data which, for example, returns only one or two values, will be considered trivial. For example, a question such as “Which industries have a low percentage of female CEOs?” is considered trivial.

On the other hand, non-trivial questions involve more than one dimension and ideally have the potential to offer something interesting, insightful, and even unexpected. Apply your critical thinking skills to develop and improve non-trivial questions through group discussions.

  • In particular, report on how the situation in 2020 concerning the issue of interest to your persona is similar or different to the situation as it was in previous years (you may wish to consider time frames such as the year before, pre-Covid(2019) and even earlier.
